Well ok. After 3 months of doubting I've been willing to upload a pic of this ship XD I was way too unsure of myself to actually do it but oh welp. This time there was people threatening to shove hot iron up my ass if I didn't upload it. Thank you, everyone who did that |'D I hope not too many people will hate me for this because a lot of people have better ships with their OC and Norway :'| Well, anyways- cough- on with the pic I guess.

Ok. So. I've been shipping these two for way too long just gh. It's perfect ok ;;;; It makes sense historically, culturally and personality-wise xD I'm still writing down the ship explanation, but it might take a bit long since my first file got deleted eve" But I can write down a few reasons in short-

-Norway was trading and helping Amsterdam's economy not that long after she had received her city rights and Great Privilege. Basically about 200-300 years before she became worldwide well known (and also more popular with other countries in Europe). But the Norwegians were already shipping their wood, silver and fish to Amsterdam, then bought craploads of herring, wine, strong liquors, cheese, salt and textile goods there. Also, apparently the people of Amsterdam randomly built a church dedicated to a previous king of Norway when they received their privilege in trading. I still don't really know why because that guy had absolutely nothing to do with the privilege- But oh well, they did what flowed their boat I guess :'D

-In the 17th century the Britons were attacking unarmed ships from the VOC that had just departed from Amsterdam to Norway. The ships had to move up to flee, and eventually did manage to end up in Norway, where they were most likely protected by the people. A lot of traces from the shippers were found near the coast, like religious objects, church bells and more. A lot of Norwegians immigrated to Amsterdam in the 18th century and most even stayed there for the rest of their lives, more than often marrying a Dutch woman. In the 18th century, about 12000 Norwegians married and stayed in Amsterdam for the rest of their lives. Even though that'd mean they'd get a very very low ranking in the Dutch community. Most of them became fishermen.

Ok so this is kind of a preview. The real one will have more information xD But yeah. I just kinda ship it and- yeah- I don't have a lot to say about it

Most of my Amsterdam art will be found on >>s-waffelen

Thank you for watching, I hope you enjoy the pic and the ship :')
